Education

Bettina Roeper was born and raised in Germany and moved to San Francisco in 1998 to study Psychology at the San Francisco State University. After receiving her Bachelor degree in Psychology, Bettina started her holistic healing path in 2002, when she enrolled for the Swedish Massage Program with the San Francisco School of Massage. While studying massage, she became certified to practice Usui Reiki. Bettina deepened her holistic healing quest by taking Cranial-Sacral therapy classes with the Upledger Institue. She continued to expand her training with a four-year Masters Degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco.

Bettina is certified to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology both nationally by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and with the State of California by the American Acupuncture Board.

In addition to her professional training in the Bay area, Bettina practiced at a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Yunnan, China, with a focus in Gynecology pediatrics and pain management. She is qualified to treat a variety of ailments; her special interests are pregnancy, postpartum and pediatrics.


Community Service

In addition to her private practice, Bettina volunteers her time to under-served communities at the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic and at the San Francisco Sheriff's Department with the Survivor Empowerment Program.
